IT SME Data Engineer
Summary
Home Credit Philippines is hiring a Data Engineering SME in Taguig to lead breakthrough initiatives, provide technical guidance to the data engineering team, and shape the unified data platform roadmap on Azure Databricks. Day to day: solution design, incident resolution within SLA, upskilling the team, and platform maintenance using Azure, Databricks, SQL, and messaging tools like Kafka.

Ensure timely delivery of initiatives, especiallymajor and breakthrough initiative requested by Stakeholders with quality. Leadbuilding a high performing and capability of data engineering team specificallyin Azure data bricks. Ensure production incidents are resolved within SLA.
Acts asSME in providing future direction of unified data platforms in collaborationwith architects, data steward, IT security and business stakeholders. Providetechnical guidance on Data engineering team.
Whatyou will do:
- Actas Lead Data engineer for breakthrough initiative and will ensure technicalrequirements are fulfilled with quality.
- ProvideTechnical guidance to the Data engineering team.
- Collaboratewith Business Analyst and architect for initiative solution design.
- Cooperatewith other teams, ensure the end-to-end integrated solution is robust andconform with architecture standards.
- Workwith infra team for maintenance, DRC, and platform related patches and upgrade.
- Provideupskilling plans to elevate the capability of data engineering team in Azureand Databricks.
- Workwith stakeholders, Head of IT Deliveries, and architects to establish futureroadmap of Unified data platform to ensure it caters future business needs,abide with data governance policy, and data privacy act.
- Actsas senior consultant/ SME of Data engineering team.
Whatyou should have:
- Minimum10 years' experience in Data engineering role.
- 10years’ experience in Data technologies (Cloudera-cloud/on prem) or equivalent
- Advancecapability with Databricks and Azure
- Familiarityin Data Science task
- Experiencein DWH is a plus
- Knowledgeablein Oracle Golden gate is a plus
- canprovide detailed solutions and technical training to the team members.
- Knowledgeof SQL, messaging (Rabbit MQ, Kafka),
- Knowledgeof the CI/CD and proactive monitoring for his team
- Knowledgeon API integration (SOAP and REST)
- Abilityto write in both technical and user-friendly language.
