Requirements:

• Management of SNOW Software License management tool.
• Software lifecycle management.
• End-to-end software license compliance for software on the estate.
• Knowledge and understanding of software licensing rules, licensing implications, software metering and methods to optimize utilization.

Responsibilities:

• We are responsible for management of end-to-end software license compliance for software on the estate.
• We manage the SNOW Software License management tool.
• We advise on, design, implement and manage best practices and internal processes of licensing methodology to optimize costs.
• We provide assistance and guidance to the userbase on software license procurement and utilisation.
• We conduct regular and consistent audits across the estate measuring deployment vs entitlement, including analysis of contractual and financial status, to understand and report on the effective license position.
• We report and verify all software, versions and volumes installed on the estate.
• We maintain the record of Proof of Licenses.
• We maintain process and procedural documentation.

We are a world class defence organisation based in Stevenage, offering an initial 12 month contract for an IT Software Asset Manager within our Digital Excellence function providing IT Services to the business. The role is based in Stevenage with hybrid working of 2 days per week onsite and the rest remote from home. The contract is for 37 hours per week, with overtime paid at time and a quarter for hours worked over 37 per week. The role is inside IR35 and offered through an umbrella arrangement, with the assignment expected to continue beyond the initial 12 months.
