IT Software Developer

Job Overview:

The Senior Software Developer develops C# code and .NET solutions for all Medicare and Medicaid lines of business.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop vendor integrations, services, and web applications to support ongoing and new technology initiatives using C#.
• Participate in project planning, solution planning, and development with management and team members
• Independently identify technology bottlenecks and deficiencies, determine best course of action, and implement efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Automation of jobs – SQL, Visual Studio, ALTREX, DTS, Python, C#, SSIS, ASP.NET

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of the ASP.NET stack including C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC
• Proficiency with windows stack tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, Visual Studio
• Ability to independently define project parameters with minimal guidance
• Project management skills and ability to keep track of ongoing issues independently.
• Willingness to adapt to changing goals, ad-hoc requests, and requirements
• Ability to communicate and keep all team members and management up to date.

Education, Experience, and Licenses:

• 5+ years demonstrated experience as a C# Developer
• 3+ years of experience developing ASP.NET web applications
• 3+ years of ETL development
• 2+ years of Medical Terminology Experience
• Experience with healthcare technology (MCO plans), Hybrid datamining and Population health preferrable
