Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior C# Backend Developer to lead the migration of our core business logic from a monolithic SQL Server database into a modern, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). In this role, you will abstract database-level logic, design robust APIs, and build a scalable service layer that drives our next-generation platform.
Key Responsibilities
Architect the Service Layer: Design and build reusable business logic components using C# and .NET.
Database Logic Migration: Extract legacy stored procedures and triggers from SQL Server into C# services.
API Development: Design, secure, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and web services.
Decouple Architecture: Transition the current monolithic setup into a decoupled, service-oriented ecosystem.
Optimize Data Flow: Implement efficient Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Entity Framework Core.
Testing & Quality: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure migration safety and zero downtime.
Required Technical Skills
C# / .NET Mastery: 5+ years of deep backend development experience using .NET Core or modern .NET.
Database & SQL Server: Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including complex queries and indexing strategies.
SOA & API Design: Proven experience building Service-Oriented Architectures and enterprise-grade Web APIs.
Data Access: Expert knowledge of Entity Framework Core or Dapper for efficient data mapping.
Security: Solid understanding of API security protocols, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or JWT.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with message brokers (Prefer MSMQ or Azure Service BUS) for asynchronous service communication.
Prior experience executing a successful monolith-to-SOA migration.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
