Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining up‑to‑date IT system architectures for Clients using CloudFerro’s product portfolio.
- Collaborating with Clients, Project Managers, Product Managers, and technical team leaders to ensure project success.
- Preparing end‑to‑end architectural solutions that meet Client requirements and internal company standards.
- Decomposing designed systems into smaller components, agreeing on required changes and extensions to existing products.
- Communicating, clarifying, and explaining architecture and technical aspects of the project scope to Clients and internal technical teams.
- Defining the technical scope and execution approach for work performed by subcontractors.
- Answering technical questions related to architecture and making architectural decisions.
- Coordinating, supervising, and accepting subcontractor work from a technical perspective.
- Executing or coordinating technical tasks requiring cross‑team collaboration (e.g., environment design, multi‑product deployment planning).
- Providing architectural support during design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases at the Client side.
- Preparing technical project documentation and coordinating the creation of required documentation elements by technical teams.
- Working with the Project Manager on project scheduling (technical tasks, workload estimation, dependencies).
- Technical oversight of project progress.
- Identifying and managing technical risks.
- Participating in offer preparation.
- Participating in effort and cost estimation for project budgeting.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of CloudFerro’s solutions and technology trends to advise and select the best solutions for Clients.
We expect from you:
- Technical education (computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or similar).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT as an architect, particularly in infrastructure‑related areas.
- Experience working directly with Clients.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts.
- Understanding of design patterns (or experience designing) distributed processing systems.
- Experience designing high‑availability (HA) systems.
- Strong soft skills: communication, teamwork, openness to change, independence, diligence, efficiency, creativity, patience.
- Experience in preparing technical offers.
- Knowledge of IT architecture documentation standards (especially C4).
- Attention to standards and best practices.
- Ability to design and document scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions.
- Ability to specify technical tasks for external teams.
- Experience working with IT specialists across various domains and technologies.
- Willingness to share knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of product‑oriented thinking.
- Excellent self‑organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Focus on quality and timely delivery.
- Ability to present complex technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Very good command of English enabling communication with Clients and partners, as well as reading and creating system and technical documentation (min. B2/C1).

- Knowledge of OpenStack and Ceph technologies.
- Experience working in international projects.

- Knowledge of the Earth Observation sector (satellite data acquisition and processing).
