IT Solutions Designer / Infrastructure Lead
Summary
Designs secure, scalable IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions for a public-sector organisation, translating business needs into technical designs and leading Agile delivery.
Salary: £47,000 - 56,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience in solution design, solution architecture, or a technical lead role in a similar position
- Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, and cyber security technologies
- Experience designing secure and scalable enterprise solutions within complex environments
- Strong understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, and technical governance
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
- Experience within the public sector, or similarly complex organisations, would be advantageous
- Design end-to-end technology solutions across infrastructure, networks, and cyber security
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution specifications
- Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, standards, and blueprints
- Ensure solutions are secure, integrated, scalable, and fit for purpose
- Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions
- Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation planning
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather and validate requirements
- Support Agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
