IT SPECIALIST (APPSW)

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the Expeditionary C3 & Cyber Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

You will serve as a senior Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing comprehensive lifecycle Information Assurance (IA) and secure engineering leadership for critical tactical systems.

You will leverage expert-level knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and current DoD authorization pathways to lead research, development, engineering, and continuous monitoring of robust security authorization packages.

You will have extensive, multi-disciplinary technical acumen spanning advanced hardware architecture configurations, secure system design, and the implementation and rigorous documentation of application-level software security controls.
