You may also view the full position description on the Agency intranet at the following link: PD Search Serves as an IT Specialist supporting the Chief Information Officer, providing technical support in software development and engineering.

Provides technical support in the preparation, creation, testing, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing support of business applications and technology solutions that meet agency objectives.

Contributes to the design and deployment of innovative technology strategies to meet Agency needs and advance goals. Assisting with the building, running, and operation of applications and framework environments using contemporary methods and tools.

Assist senior developers in testing and monitoring applications and supports best practices for testing and quality assurance.

Works closely with developers, business analysts, and multidisciplinary teams to assist in the implementation of new functionalities and creative solutions, and to convert business needs into technical frameworks.

Provides support to developers who, in turn, assist senior developers collaborating with other technical authorities within the Agency and with individuals from other Federal organizations or private industry.

Applies analytical techniques to a variety of assignments, including providing input during the assessment process of proposed IT investments to ensure alignment and support of the Agency’s strategic plan.
