IT Specialist (DATAMGT/SYSANALYSIS)

About the Position: Serves as the lead database architect and technical expert for USFK J1, managing secured and unsecured enclaves to ensure sustained engineering, operation, maintenance, and seamless administration of database systems for critical data storage. Develop and enforce database policies and procedures to guarantee data integrity during application modification projects.

Build, install, and configure databases and front-end software, scaling from local applications to advanced enterprise systems.

Diagnose database issues and monitor availability, serviceability, and recoverability using vendor and local manuals.

Combine multiple databases with varying data types and formats into single, cohesive technical solutions.

Architect Cloud Solutions: Serve as the subject matter expert for Cloud computing, applying data replication theories to off-premise environments.

Oversee the daily operations and troubleshooting of database technologies across both virtual and physical server enclaves.

Establish disaster recovery strategies and conduct annual audits to verify that archiving and backup systems are fully functional.

Provide technical expertise in requirements validation, alternative analysis, data modeling, and capacity management.

Ensure strict compliance with security standards to protect the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of stored data.

Direct technical assessments for the Certification and Accreditation process and advise system owners on risk trade-offs.
