IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH)

This position may be filled using Direct Hire Authority: Z5CAV/Direct-Hire Authority (Certain DoD Personnel) PL 118-31, Sec 125OB (i)(2), 12/22/2023.This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated August 12,2024. This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, C4 Systems Directorate (J6).

As a IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Plans and executes actions supporting the development, technical documentation, analysis, maintenance, operations of DoD Nuclear Logistics and Stockpile Operations mission architectures and related data to include processes, information, data, standards and measures. Participates in analysis efforts that apply enterprise architecture design principles to development of mission threads describing the mission activities, systems and participants enabling the analysis of DoD-wide nuclear logistics and stockpile operations missions and related platforms, systems, and services with appropriate attention to mission partner interoperability. Provides architecture-based systems analysis to support development of requirements and identification of solutions DoD and DOE Enterprise Nuclear Common Operating Environment (ENCORE) and Nuclear Logistics Data Services (NLDS) operational systems and platforms. Performs systems/service analysis to identify, refine and develop capability gaps and potential capability requirements for Capabilities-Based Assessments (CBAs) based on Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS) analysis in order to identify potential capability requirements developed capability requirements documents. Coordinates CCMD/Service/Agency/DOE architecture development and systems analysis activities. Represents DoD, and DTRA on contacts with external activities including DOD and DOE components, other Federal Agencies, and private industry presenting views on all technology planning, process improvement, performance measurement and analysis matters.
