IT Specialist
Summary
Maintains and secures Hermès’ on-prem and cloud IT infrastructure in Bangkok, including servers, networks, and end-user systems, while managing vendors and documenting policies.
Key Responsibilities
Administration of IT Server and Network infrastructure.
Management of IT vendor and external outsourcing IT contractors.
Prepare IT technical documentation, policies, and procedures.
Provide Level 1 end-user computing and network support to all locations including office, stores and warehouse.
Perform regular patch management and planned Operating Systems or equivalent infrastructure software/firmware upgrades to ensure technology end of life/vulnerable products are upgraded/retired to address vulnerability/support risks.
Setup and Maintain IT Infrastructure (Virtual Environment, Storage, Network equipment, Firewall, Video Conferencing and IP Telephony).
Monitoring of routine operations (Server Room, Backup, Antivirus Updates, Network, etc).
Setup and maintain Cloud architecture such as Azure, AWS and other similar cloud technologies.
Maintain close collaboration with Regional IT team in Singapore.
Perform technology evaluation and technology refresh.
Records and secure all IT Assets.
Requirements & Capabilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in end-user and network equipment support.
Ability to manage projects and see through to completion.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
Technical Microsoft and Cisco certifications is preferred.
