IT Specialist (Hung Hom, MNC)

What will I be responsible for?

• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and infrastructure components to ensure smooth operations.

• Support network and server operations, including backup, monitoring, and system maintenance.

• Support firewall, virtualization, and backup-related tasks, and assist the senior technical team in infrastructure follow-up and implementation.

• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.

• Provide technical support for selected offices and projects across the Asia region as assigned, including follow-up, implementation, and resolution where required.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical team on implementation, maintenance, and follow-up.

• Overtime working during non-office hours may be necessary for infrastructure-related tasks and projects.

• Respond to urgent requests and perform ad-hoc IT duties when required.

What experience/skills do I need to be successful in this role?

• High Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, systems support, IT operations, or relevant experience.

• Knowledge of MS Windows and Office 365

• Experience in supporting Windows Server; Linux platform will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of networking, virtualized environments, and backup software.

• Experience with firewall, remote access, and infrastructure-related project work will be an advantage.

• CCNA / MCSA holder is a MUST.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good team player, self-motivated and with good communication skills.

• Able to work under pressure and independently.
