IT Specialist (m/f/d)

AeronautX is building up its training operations in Amsterdam – and this is an opportunity to join us at an exciting stage of the journey.

As our IT Specialist, you will be the primary local IT contact and help establish and maintain the technology environment behind our business and simulator operations.

This is a hands-on role with real local ownership. At the same time, you will collaborate with IT colleagues across our Group, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and contribute to selected projects across the group as you develop in the role.
  • Ensure the availability, stability and performance of our local IT infrastructure.
  • Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, network components and workplace technologies.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, licences, collaboration tools and cloud services.
  • Support local server environments and simulator-related IT systems.
  • Provide first- and second-level end-user support and manage IT assets.
  • Maintain user permissions, access rights, patching and endpoint security.
  • Support compliance with corporate security, data protection and aviation-specific requirements.
  • Contribute to local IT projects and collaborate with Group IT and external service providers where required.
  • Degree or vocational qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in IT support, system administration or IT operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and knowledge of Windows, macOS, networking, virtualisation and cloud technologies.
  • Basic understanding of EASA Part-IS and NIS2 is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • An independent, accountable and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset and the ambition to develop your expertise over time.
  • Excellent English; Dutch and/or other languages are an advantage.
  • Aviation or another safety-critical industry experience is an advantage.
