IT Specialist (Network Services)

About the Position: This position performs physical security, cyber security, and reliability compliance of systems for a specialized secondary automated controls software to ensure delivery of quality services.

Review, analyze, and evaluate physical and cyber security programs to determine overall effectiveness in achieving implementation; required support of equipment and systems; and compliance with applicable regulations, agreements and policies.

Define IT security requirements and carry out activities leading to security certification or accreditation.

Implement and support IT security applications. Installs, configures, and conducts integrated analysis of multiple audit logs from devices, e.g. fire wall, router, switch, etc.

Serve as a system and network administrator for the HDC Automated Controls and Cyber Security Branch lab network and any industrial control systems (ICS) testbeds in development.

Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of a wide variety of technologies used for the ICS or OT system installed at the hydroelectric power plants.
