IT Specialist (OS)

This vacancy is for an IT Specialist (OS) position in the Office of Information Technology Services located at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other IT Specialist (OS), ZP-2210-3 positions within the Bureau of Economic Analysis in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

Provide Windows Server Administration and Infrastructure Support.

Deploy, secure, and optimize Azure environments by managing cloud resources, identity and access controls, monitoring, performance, costs, and overall system health.

Maintain secure, compliant server operations through cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation, log reviews, automated patching and configuration, documentation, and audit readiness.

Maintain accurate IT documentation, communicate changes and incidents, collaborate across teams, and provide clear technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and user support.
