IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the command's senior expert and technical authority for the financial management and resources of all command Information Technology (IT).

Command-Level IT Portfolio Analysis and POM Formulation: Serves as the principal advisor to senior leadership on the financial health and strategic direction of the command's multi-billion-dollar IT portfolio. IT Strategic Planning: Assesses policy needs and develops policy and procedures governing IT activities. Serves as the IT special projects officer for and provides management solutions to assigned special IT related studies, analysis, or projects. Acquisition and Contract Authority: Serves as the senior financial expert for IT resource acquisition and contract oversight.
