We are looking for a hands-on IT Specialist to own the day-to-day technology experience of our employees. This role combines end-user support, device and identity management, and operational ownership of our SaaS stack — making sure every team member is equipped, secure, and productive from day one. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, service-minded, and comfortable working independently across a broad set of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Hardware & devices: procure, configure, deploy, and track laptops, phones, and peripherals; maintain an accurate asset inventory (lifecycle, warranty, disposal) and handle repairs/RMA with vendors.
  • Device management: administer the MDM platform across macOS, Windows — device enrollment, configuration policies, security baselines, full-disk encryption, patching, and remote lock/wipe.
  • Identity & accounts: manage users, groups, and devices the central directory; configure SSO, MFA, and password policies; integrate cloud apps via SAML/SCIM and apply least-privilege access.
  • Onboarding & offboarding: own the IT side of joining and leaving — prepare hardware, provision accounts and access from role-based templates, and securely revoke access and recover devices on exit.
  • SaaS administration: manage the company SaaS stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, 1Password, GitHub etc.) — provisioning, licenses, renewals, and cost optimization, ideally automated via SSO/SCIM.
  • End-user support: Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users, delivering timely and effective IT support (including but not limited to hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity); triage and resolve tickets within SLAs and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Operations & security: maintain IT documentation and runbooks, support office infrastructure, enforce security/compliance policies, and assist with audits.
  • AI tools & productivity: leverage approved AI tools to support day-to-day IT operations, research solutions, and improve the efficiency and quality of end-user support.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support / IT administration / helpdesk role.
  • Hands-on experience with macOS and Windows, plus iOS/Android device management.
  • Experience administering MDM + directory platform such as Jamf, Intune, or Okta).
  • Solid understanding of user accounts, permissions, SSO, and MFA.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and a willingness to learn and apply structured IT support processes.
  • Experience administering SaaS tools and managing licenses.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, methodical approach.
  • Service-oriented attitude; able to prioritize and work independently.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JumpCloud certification (Core / Admin) or equivalent platform experience.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python). • Commands / API, and remote support software (TeamViewer, TightVNC etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
