IT Specialist Supporting USCG Museum

Ruchman and Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT Specialists to support the National Coast Guard Museum, in authorized museum information technology, gallery systems, theater systems, public-facing connectivity, and digital infrastructure while complying with Coast Guard cybersecurity and access-control requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Monitor and maintain internal and public networks to ensure reliable connectivity.

· Perform approved backup, restoration, and data-protection tasks for systems within the Contractor’s assigned scope.

· Process and track authorized account requests, permissions, onboarding, and off-boarding through Government-approved procedures. The Contractor shall not grant access outside delegated authority.

· Provide technical support for gallery and theater systems and approved museum events, including presentation, streaming, lighting-control, and related systems within the assigned scope.

· Work with the Exhibits Tech and AV Media Specialist to ensure digital displays, sensors, and interactive components remain functional.

· Support events with live-streaming configurations, lighting control setups, or AV presentations.

· Manage the visitor portal to ensure a smooth guest experience while maintaining physical isolation from secure internal databases.
