IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/APPSW)
Summary
The IT Specialist will manage system performance, implement modifications, and maintain software for support equipment at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast. The role involves optimizing system environments, ensuring operational continuity, and providing recommendations on IT design and security.
You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/APPSW) in the FST ENGINEERING DIV, FST DEPT of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (Cecil Commerce Center).
You will independently determine the feasibility of installing modifications; and schedule implementation to ensure continuity of operations.
You will monitor performance data and modifying systems tuning parameters to optimize overall systems performance and correct and prevent problems with the systems environment.
You will participate in reviewing current and proposed IT legislation, directives, regulations, and guidance, make recommendations on proper systems design, security and performance areas, and determine the impact of changes to existing systems.
You will evaluate and maintain metrics of damaged Support Equipment (i.e. PEMA) for corrupt software and rebuild/repair as required.
