The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior systems administrator with responsibility for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Performs services as a senior GCCS systems administrator: Plans, coordinates, and installs applications software and hardware for operating systems. Provides technical guidance and instruction to MAICOM users and other GSU IT specialists. Serves as a senior GCCS technical advisor to management. Maintains liaison with DISA, manufacturers, professional organizations, and counterparts at other installation services regarding available products and state-of-the-art technologies and advancements.
