IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the J9(HAC)/PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT OFFICE - ESPS DEVELOPMENT BRANCH.

Applies analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations.

Consults with customers to identify and specify requirements, develops overall functional and systems requirements and specifications, and conducts business process reengineering.

Makes recommendations pertaining to new hardware and software involving information processing operational developments that will enhance the information processing and information management posture of multiple agencies/ organizations

Directs extensive and comprehensive data analysis to identify the technical benefits, potential utilization, and the usage of systems and technologies
