IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA FO-NORTHCOM - COMBAT SUPPORT DIVISON.

Forging new strategic relationships with mission partners, creating product awareness, and capturing requirements to advocate on their behalf to DISA leadership.

Serves as the primary liaison or project manager with internal and external customers on information technology development matters and/or systems performance metrics.

Conducts detailed analyses of business processes for which systems are being developed and defines information technology solutions and alternatives to enable changes and improvements.

Consults with customers to develop and refine functional requirements and translates functional requirements into design specifications.
