Workster is partnering with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an IT Specialist for their Gaming studios in Bucharest, Romania

Your Role

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, troubleshooting user-reported problems via email, phone, or ticketing systems, and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), identifying and resolving performance issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment (computers, servers, printers) and handle component replacements or repairs.
  • Install, update, and configure software applications, resolving compatibility issues and ensuring proper licensing.
  • Support network-related tasks such as connectivity issues, IP configurations, and network hardware maintenance.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
  • Coordinate with service providers to resolve internet connection issues.
  • Ensure timely response to incidents and adherence to SLA requirements.
  • Administer and maintain systems on Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring security, user management, and optimal system performance through updates and patches.
  • Document solutions, maintain a knowledge base, and share best practices to foster team collaboration.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies, actively pursuing relevant training and certifications.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on networking and systems administration.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls) and experience with troubleshooting and network monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in managing server environments (Windows, Linux), including user management, system updates, and basic configuration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and managing virtual environments.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-oriented with a professional attitude and the ability to provide effective support to users at all levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge to contribute to team success.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating user guides and maintaining clear, organized records.
  • Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
