About the role

Xcalibur Smart Mapping is seeking a proactive and service-focused IT Support Administrator to support our Australian operations while collaborating with our global IT team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes ownership of problems and is willing to learn and adapt as technology evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Provide responsive IT support to employees and follow through until issues are resolved.

• Troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues and escalate more complex matters when required.

• Work collaboratively with local teams and global IT colleagues.

• Follow established IT procedures, standards and escalation processes.

• Support IT equipment setup, deployment and general administration.

• Embrace new technologies, including AI-assisted support tools.

• Assist with occasional after-hours IT emergencies when required.

About you

• Solid practical experience in IT support or a similar role.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• A reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.

• Willingness to learn new systems, tools and processes.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a global team.

• A positive attitude and commitment to resolving user issues.
