Advises J6 Senior Leaders on long-term IT planning, forecasts, objectives, and priorities.

Serves as key advisor in formulating Agency-wide IT policy, strategy, and program initiatives.

Prepares executive briefings, information papers, and speeches on complex IT topics.

Leads coordination of the J6 Operating Plan and J6 input into the DLA Strategic Plan.

Represents and makes commitments for J6 Senior Leaders at DOD, inter-agency, and HQ meetings

Keeps J6 leadership and key stakeholders informed on critical issues affecting their mission.

Advises leadership on problem solving, process improvement, and customer responsiveness.

Promotes operational effectiveness of IT specialists across HQ and field activities.

Conducts studies on organizational concepts, operating relationships, and federal IT trends.

Maintains awareness of HQ and field IT issues to resolve pertinent mission-related challenge.
