IT Support Assistant
Summary
Internal IT support role at a transportation company in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong: the person troubleshoots hardware, software and network issues for internal users, installs and maintains desktops, laptops and printers, manages user accounts, and keeps IT asset inventory. Core tech: Windows environment and basic LAN/WAN networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to internal users (onsite and remote)
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment
Handle user account setup, password resets, and access management
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Liaise with external vendors to resolve issues efficiently
Willing to perform occasional on-site support (locally)
Requirements:
Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
1-2 years working experience in IT support and front-end support is preferred
Familiar with Windows environment
Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN)
Good command in spoken and written English and Cantonese
Responsible, customer-oriented, and able to work under pressure
Outdoor work is required
