IT Support Engineer
Summary
Maintain and develop in-house systems built on NestJS, React (TypeScript), and Microsoft SQL Server while providing IT support — help desk, Windows Server/Active Directory, networking, and Hyper-V virtualization — at Alpha Laboratories in East Tamaki, Auckland. Integration experience with HR/payroll/access-control systems is a plus.
Role Summary:
Maintain and develop in-house systems built on NestJS + React (TypeScript) + MSSQL, and provide IT support. Experience integrating HR/time & attendance/payroll/access-control systems is a plus.
Requirements:
Computer Science or Information Technology degree
Intermediate Node.js/TypeScript coding experience (NestJS, React preferred)
Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) experience - multi-database environments
Experience on Microsoft Servers and Active Directory
Network knowledge (CCNA preferred)
Knowledge in virtualization, especially Hyper-V
Help desk experience at least 2 years
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
