About the role
E-NESCOM DESIGNIFY ELEMENTS SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Support Executive to join our growing technology team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. As an IT Support Executive, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional technical support to our internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity across the organisation. This role is integral to our operations, providing both reactive support and proactive solutions to keep our systems running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and professionally
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers, and peripheral devices
Manage user accounts, access rights, and security protocols in accordance with company policies
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations
Document all support tickets and technical issues, maintaining accurate records of resolutions and solutions
Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and software applications
Assist in the implementation and deployment of new IT systems and software updates
Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues
Ensure compliance with information security policies and data protection regulations
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, antivirus updates, and system patches
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in IT support or help desk environment, ideally 1-3 years in a similar role
Strong technical knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools
Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic network troubleshooting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Experience with remote support tools and virtual environments would be advantageous
