IT Support (Good English Communication)
Salary: ฿28,000 – ฿34,000 per month
About the role
This role is the school's tier-1 technology support across all campuses: the first response when a printer jams, a projector drops, a classroom device fails or a colleague is stuck. It is a hands-on, on-the-ground seat with real ownership of the daily support layer, and it keeps the rest of the IT team free to build. The final shape of the role flexes with the hire: a system administrator in training who grows toward second-line work, or an IT technician who makes the daily support layer excellent.
Key responsibilities
Provide tier-1 support as first response for staff and classroom technology: printers, projectors, screens, audio, classroom devices and everyday software problems
Triage incoming requests, resolve what tier-1 can, and escalate cleanly to the System Administrator with a clear record of what was tried
Support school events with setup, sound and technical cover
Set up, image, configure, and maintain end-user hardware across macOS, Windows, and Chromebook environments; handle basic repairs and coordinate warranty service
Keep the asset inventory current: what exists, where it lives, what condition it is in
Perform basic account and access tasks in Google Workspace under supervision
Move between campuses on a regular rhythm so every site gets reliable in-person support, with City School as the base
Spot and report recurring problems rather than fixing the same thing twice silently
Follow system-administrator-in-training track with structured mentoring toward networking, cloud administration and scripting, with growing second-line responsibility, or IT technician track deepening mastery of the support layer itself, including preventive maintenance and support documentation
About you
Genuine service mindset: patient, friendly and reliable with non-technical colleagues, including teachers mid-lesson
Practical comfort with macOS, Windows, Chromebooks, AV equipment, printers, and Google Workspace basics
Thai and English working proficiency
Familiarity with basic IT security concepts (e.g., password security, phishing identification, patch management, MFA)
Able and willing to move between campuses during the working day
1 to 3 years of IT support experience, or a demonstrated aptitude and eagerness to learn; relevant vocational or degree qualification is an advantage
Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Commitment to safeguarding: completes school safeguarding training and passes a police background check as a condition of employment
