IT Support/ IT Technician
About the role
This is an IT Support and Help Desk role providing first-level technical support to users and assisting with IT operations across the organization and multiple locations.
Key responsibilities
Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner
Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, network, printer, email, and system-related issues
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve common IT problems
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the IT Manager or relevant support team
Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved properly
Prepare, update, and maintain IT documentation, including user guides, asset records, system procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support logs
Assist in software installation, configuration, testing, and deployment
Travel to company branches or other locations when required to provide IT support
Assist the IT Manager with assigned tasks, projects, and daily IT operations
Follow IT policies, security procedures, and company guidelines
About you
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Preferred)
Fresh graduates may be considered, but prior experience in IT support or help desk support is an advantage
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, email systems, printers, and common business applications
Basic understanding of networking, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, and switches
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsible, organized, and willing to learn
Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize support requests
