IT Support Officer

With our established Blacktown venue, community-focused Sports Club and a site located beside the new Western Sydney International Airport, this is an exciting opportunity to join a club group with strong foundations and future potential.
About the Role
Based at our main Blacktown site, this hands-on position provides day-to-day Level 1 and Level 2 IT support across our three venues. As the first point of contact for IT support, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide practical assistance to staff, and help ensure our teams have reliable access to the technology they need to work effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support across our three venues.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff IT support requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Support PCs, laptops, printers, POS, EFTPOS, AV equipment, connectivity and other workplace technology.
- Manage user accounts, access, hardware and software, including staff onboarding and offboarding.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and core business applications.
- Liaise with external IT providers and vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate repairs.
- Maintain IT asset records, documentation and equipment.
- Assist with technology upgrades, projects and improvements while minimising disruption to club operations.
About You
- 2–3 years’ experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk or similar IT support role.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, including hardware, software, connectivity and user access issues.
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and common workplace technology.
- Relevant IT certifications, including Microsoft or CompTIA, will be highly regarded.
