Location: UK-based | Hybrid, with occasional customer-site visits

Salary: £35,000–£42,000
Reporting to: Technical Operations Lead
About the role
Sentriware is looking for an IT Support & Operations Engineer to join our growing technical team.
This is not a traditional ticket-driven support role. You will work across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows, endpoint security and automation, helping customers stay secure, productive and well supported.
You will take ownership of issues, support day-to-day IT operations and help reduce recurring problems through better processes, standardisation and automation.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting users across Microsoft 365, Windows, devices and applications.
- Administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Managing users, groups, MFA and access through Entra ID.
- Supporting joiners, movers and leavers.
- Configuring and managing Windows devices through Intune.
- Monitoring patching, compliance and routine security alerts.
- Troubleshooting issues through to resolution.
- Maintaining accurate user, licence and device records.
- Identifying recurring problems and opportunities to automate or improve them.
What we're looking for
You should have experience in IT support, IT administration, service desk or an MSP environment.
Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Windows and user administration is essential. Experience with Intune, Defender, Conditional Access, PowerShell, Cyber Essentials or MSP tooling is a strong advantage.
You should be someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, works methodically and wants to keep developing.
