Summary

Salary: $4,000 – $5,500 per month
About the role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (in-house) on behalf of our client. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and supporting our employees' technical needs. As an in-house IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all technical issues and will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, resolving hardware and software issues, and providing expert guidance to staff across the organisation. This role is integral to maintaining productivity and ensuring our business operations run seamlessly.
Key responsibilities
Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting computers, printers, networks, and peripherals
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the organisation's systems
Maintain and update IT documentation, including asset inventory and system configurations
Perform regular system monitoring and preventative maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users
Support IT infrastructure projects and initiatives as assigned
Provide technical training and guidance to employees on software and hardware usage
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and user information
What we're looking for
IT educational qualifications, or certificates ie. Network/ Security related
4-5 years of experience in a corporate IT support, IT infrastructure management, or similar technical support role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and system administration basics
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Proactive approach to identifying and preventing technical issues
Preferred experience with cloud-based services, virtualization, or network infrastructure
