IT Support Specialist
About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic team at Nuffield Holdings Private Limited as an IT Support Specialist. In this full-time position based in Macpherson Central Region, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Respond to and resolve a wide range of IT-related inquiries and issues from our users in a timely and efficient manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
Provide first-line support and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems and applications
Coordinate with vendors and other IT professionals to address more complex technical problems
Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles
Assist with the implementation and testing of new IT systems and applications
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a similar industry
Experience supporting multi-site environments is highly preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
Familiarity with common office productivity software, hardware, and network technologies
Demonstrable ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies
