We are seeking a local candidate for this role, and the position is located onsite downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

Days: Monday-Friday

5 days required in office with limited travel to our locations in North OKC and Edmond

The IT Support Specialist II is the primary end-user support contact for the company and owns the endpoint and workspace layer of I.T. Operations across all facilities. Acts as the main I.T. contact, assisting users via voice, chat, email, and ticket systems. Resolves hardware, software, access, and peripheral issues; images, deploys, and retires end-user devices; builds out and relocates work stations across HQ, HQ2, and Broadway; and administers the badge, key-fob, and print/label systems the business depends on daily. This is a high-volume, hands-on, on-site role carrying one of the department’s largest end-user ticket loads along with the physical and logistical work that keeps a distributed retail and fulfillment operation running. Strong problem-solving abilities, disciplined ticket documentation, and a willingness to quickly learn new technologies are required. Server, network, and platform work is escalated to the Systems Administration team rather than owned by this role.

The day in the life of an IT Support Specialist...

  • Serve as the single point of contact for help desk intake; triage, own, and resolve front-line tickets across all departments and sites.
  • Troubleshoot Windows desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, business applications, and peripherals.
  • Image, configure, deploy, and retire desktops, laptops, and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune/Entra and the company’s standard build.
  • Manage Windows desktops, users, computers, and mobile devices.
  • Handle user and device management in Active Directory, Office 365/Entra, Exchange, and anti-malware, within the scope delegated by the Systems Administration team.
  • Perform scheduled system, firmware, and application updates for users.
  • Execute onboarding provisioning and termination deprovisioning to the documented checklist, on the effective date.
  • Build, ship, and recover work-from-home kits, and maintain kit component inventory.
  • Build out, move, and decommission work stations across HQ, HQ2, and Broadway, including receiving, distribution center, coding, and scrap-metal stations.
  • Support and standardize the printer, scanner, and label-printer fleet (Zebra and Dymo), including the shipping and receiving label systems.
  • Maintain the I.T. asset register and manage support consumables: toner, label stock, cabling, docks, and peripherals.
  • Maintain and publish facility and station notifications, including new-hire, termination, and station-change communications.
  • Maintain assigned work areas and the help desk footprint to the company’s 5S standard.
  • Maintain system documentation and user manuals, and support the implementation and testing of new systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments.
  • Escalate server, network, security platform, and application issues to the Systems Administration team with reproduction steps and diagnostics attached.
  • Research and advocate new technologies.
  • Provide assistance to I.T. Operations as needed, including scheduled after-hours or weekend work for station cutovers and facility projects.

Additional qualities of an IT Support Specialist...

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ticketing and documentation skills
  • Sound troubleshooting method: reproduce, isolate, resolve, document
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and follow-through
  • Discretion with employee data and physical security information
  • Physically able to perform station build-outs and equipment moves as described under Physical Demands
