IT Support Specialist
Description
Dr. Praeger's is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide on-site Level 1 technical support across our Elmwood facility. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting a user base of approximately 75–150 employees, including both salaried and hourly staff. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, requires minimal ramp-up time on core IT tasks, and can hit the ground running while learning our specific business processes and operational environment. -Provide Level 1 help desk and on-site technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues -Troubleshoot and support manufacturing equipment, including Zebra label printers and handheld scanners -Manage desktop and laptop deployment, including imaging and configuration -Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning -Administer and support Active Directory (on-premise with cloud sync) -Handle Office 365 licensing and general software maintenance -Manage network connectivity issues and general network support -Maintain IT inventory, including computers and printer toner -Log and manage support tickets through the Halo ticketing system (volume approximately 15–20 tickets/day, plus in-person requests) -Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or MSP as appropriate

Required skills: -Strong Windows OS troubleshooting and configuration skills -Experience deploying and imaging desktops/laptops -Working knowledge of Active Directory administration -Solid understanding of basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting -Experience with Office 365 licensing and administration -Familiarity with printer support and peripheral troubleshooting -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications -Experience with Zebra printers and handheld scanners -Spanish language proficiency (strongly preferred given staff demographics) -Prior experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse environments -Familiarity with MSP-supported IT environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
