About the Role
Village Roadshow (member of Antenna Group) is a leading entertainment brand, best known for its cinemas, delivering an unparalleled movie-going experience to over 3 million viewers annually.
As we continue to expand our reach and enhance our services, We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees across our corporate offices and cinema sites, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, POS systems, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, servers), working closely with the IT Manager on upkeep and upgrades.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across company systems, ensuring data security and GDPR compliance.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
- Support onboarding/offboarding by setting up and decommissioning equipment and accounts for employees.
- Document recurring issues and solutions to build and maintain an internal knowledge base.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and support contracts.
- Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, rollouts, and process improvements across sites.
- Stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies relevant to retail/hospitality IT environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and multi-site retail/hospitality IT environments is a strong plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
