How Your Role Makes a Difference
- Resolve complex technical issues, acting as a subject matter expert;
- Answer questions through corporate ticketing system, email, and phone calls;
- Monitor support queue for incidents and make sure they are correctly prioritized and assigned to the correct person or department;
- Write and maintain knowledge base articles to ensure support resources are up-to-date, userfriendly, and effective in addressing common issues;
- Provide leadership and guidance to IT Support Technician I and II team members;
- Mentor team members in advanced technical and customer service skills;
- Serve as an escalation point for the most challenging incidents;
- Update users on the status of their incidents;
- Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;
- May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience;
- At least five (5) years of experience in IT support;
- Technical certifications preferred;
- Proficient in the organization's key technology platforms. For example, Office 365 applications, Windows, macOS, hardware, etc;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, and the ability to own a technical task and work it to completion;
- Proven subject matter expertise;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to work in an organized, detailed, and cooperative manner;
- Exercise a high level of confidentiality;
- Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;
- Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
- Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity
