IT Support Technician
Summary
An onsite IT Support Technician in Sacramento, CA providing day-to-day technical support to 100+ employees: troubleshooting desktops, laptops, software, VoIP, basic networking, and physical/virtual servers, while managing help desk ticketing and MDM and supporting EHR systems under the CFO, assisting the Network and Desktop Administrator with IT projects.
Summary: The IT Support Technician, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, will provide support and technical assistance with troubleshooting various IT issues, including but not limited to Assisting the end user in the areas related to desktops, laptops, software, application support, managing help desk type systems like ticketing systems and imaging software, basic networking, networking printing and audio/video and telephone (VolP), and physical and virtual servers. This position supports the Network and Desktop Administrator with various IT projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to provide technical support to end users across multiple business areas to support incidents, problems, and requests in non-technical and technical terms.

- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems to provide technical assistance and support.
- Set up equipment for business or employee use, performing or ensuring proper cables, operating systems, or appropriate software installation.
- Maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) system
- Support and assist in EHR systems, existing or new.
- Assist in developing training materials and procedures or train users in properly using hardware or software.
- Escalate significant hardware or software problems or defective products to higher-tier support, management, and/or vendors.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
- Assist the Network and Desktop Administrator in completing various IT tasks to support a growing environment of 100+ employees.
- Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.
Technical Skills -
