IT Support Technician

Manage, maintain, and provide ongoing support for the organization's entire end-user computing environment in a mixed Windows and macOS environment. The role includes delivering fast and professional technical support, both in-person and remotely, solving hardware and software issues, and ensuring continuous and smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities and Main Activities:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Respond to service requests via the ticketing system, phone, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across both Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Support corporate software and tools including Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Adobe suite, anti-virus software, and VPN connections.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware faults on laptops and desktops (PCs and MacBooks).

Endpoint Management and Deployment:

  • Prepare, configure, and set up computer workstations for onboarding employees.
  • Manage and automate Mac deployment using MDM systems like Jamf or Apple Business Manager, and PCs using Intune.
  • Set up and maintain peripheral equipment, including network printers, docking stations, and meeting room display systems.
  • Track and manage the company's technology hardware inventory and software licenses.

Networks and Information Security:

  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
  • Resolve basic network and connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, wired network connections).
  • Enforce corporate information security policies on endpoints, including disk encryption and security updates.


Requirements

  • Graduate of a computer technician, network technician, or network administration course
  • At least 1 year of experience as an IT technician or Helpdesk specialist in a mixed environment (PC and Mac) – Required.
  • Official Apple or Microsoft certifications – Significant advantage.
  • Deep understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems at an administrative level.
  • Basic understanding of networking and protocols (IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune) – Significant advantage.
  • High service orientation, patience, and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Fluent Hebrew and a very high level of technical English.
