The IT Support Technician role is responsible for providing technical support to office staff, manufacturing personnel and field-based construction crews. This role combines day-to-day troubleshooting with system maintenance and infrastructure support to help keep Lester Building Systems’ technology reliable and effective.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide friendly, timely technical support for hardware, software, and communication tools for on-site and remote employees

• Manage IT support requests, diagnose issues, track tickets, and help keep workflows running smoothly

• Support core IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and proactive maintenance

• Identify recurring technical issues and help improve tools, documentation, and automation

• Troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications, computers, multi-function printers (MFPs), and the Epicor ERP platform

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Systems, Microsoft Certifications, or equivalent professional experience

• 3+ years of experience administering Windows computers, Microsoft Active Directory, servers, operating systems, printer management, and providing Epicor ERP support

• Experience with Azure Cloud services, SharePoint (Office 365), and implementing Power Automation and AI agents

• Practical experience supporting Cisco and Meraki networking and managing corporate phone systems (Zoom)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Endpoint Security, Duo, Umbrella (OpenDNS), and Connect Secure software for vulnerability management

• Hands-on experience with HPE SAN storage systems (3PAR, Synology), Linux OS, and Canon MFPs

• Familiarity with VMware, Veeam backup systems, and mobile/tablet deployment is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail

• Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Lester Prairie, MN

Salary Range

Non-exempt salary of $55,000 - $78,000. The specific compensation offered to a candidate varies by several factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications and internal pay equity. This position is eligible for Company profit sharing potential.
