Your tasks **Why this position exists** Servers, storage, backup and virtualization are the backbone of every IT environment – and our business is growing: from classic project work for mid-sized companies through managed services to our own data center and cloud platforms, including GPU infrastructure for AI workloads. For this we are looking for you: a person who doesn't just operate infrastructure, but builds, improves and takes responsibility for it. Important: We fill this role according to your level. Whether you want to start out with 1–2 years of experience or have already been responsible for complex environments – we adapt tasks, goals and salary to your level. What is non-negotiable: genuine enthusiasm for technology. **Your role – four focus areas** **Implementing infrastructure projects (approx. 50%):** You design, implement and document server, storage, backup and virtualization solutions for our customers – using technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox, Veeam, as well as hardware from Lenovo, Dell, NetApp or Fujitsu. **Operations & managed services (approx. 30%):** You develop managed customer platforms and our own data center environments further – monitoring, updates, capacity planning and troubleshooting at 2nd and 3rd level. **Consulting & pre-sales support (approx. 10%):** You design solutions together with our sales team, estimate effort and stand in for the technical side during customer meetings. **New topics (approx. 10%):** Hybrid scenarios with Azure, GPU and AI infrastructure, automation of recurring tasks through scripting – you bring the topics, we give you room. **What we jointly measure success by after 12 months** - You implement infrastructure projects independently – from design through to documentation - You have co-responsible for a migration or rebuild of a virtualization cluster - You have passed a vendor certification (e.g. Veeam VMCE, Microsoft AZ-104 or virtualization) - You have measurably automated or improved at least one operational process We will agree on the specific goals behind these together – depending on your starting level. Must haves **What you bring** - Practical experience with Windows Server and at least one virtualization platform (VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox) – 1–2 years is enough, more is welcome - Basic understanding of storage and backup concepts (Veeam experience is a plus) - Solid networking fundamentals (IP, VLAN, routing basics) - Clean, traceable way of working – we work ISO 27001 certified, and documentation is not a nice-to-have for us - Fluent German, driver's license class B **What we do NOT expect** - A university degree – vocational training plus practical experience counts just as much with us - Experience with every vendor in our portfolio - Ten years of professional experience We are more interested in where you want to go than where you come from. Motivation beats seniority. We offer **Your development path** Structured onboarding with 30- and 100-day conversations, a personal mentor from the engineering team, vendor and Microsoft certifications paid by us, and the training offering of our indasys Academy. Your perspective: Senior System Engineer, Infrastructure Architect – or technical responsibility for our data center platforms. **Our top 3 benefits** 1. **Option of a 4-day week:** Work 4 × 9 hours, 3 days off. Every week. 2. **Performance bonus for everyone:** 50% of our monthly generated surplus goes to the team – from day one, including for beginners. 3. **Flexible working:** Home office as needed, core hours only 10–15 o'clock. We look forward to seeing you in the office 1–2 days per week. **Also:** Social bonus (regular salary increases without negotiation), company pension scheme, JobRad, weekly massages during working hours, 4Seasons team events, free drinks and fruit, climate-neutral company building with an electric fleet and our own charging stations. And if you move to Stuttgart for the job: our penthouse shared flat in the company building can make your start easier. **How to apply – in 3 minutes** A CV **or** LinkedIn profile is sufficient. No cover letter, no certificates in the first step. We would just like one question answered in advance: **Which environment have you most recently built or operated – and what are you particularly proud of?** (Three honest sentences are enough.) Questions in advance? You can reach our Talent Management by phone at 0711 896659157.
