IT Systems Administrator (International Environment)

An important industrial company belonging to a European multinational group is looking to hire an IT Systems Administrator to reinforce its technology team.

The selected person will combine the management and evolution of the local infrastructure with participation in international projects for the transformation, modernization, and standardization of IT services, collaborating with teams distributed across different countries.

This is a position with career progression, international visibility, and direct participation in technical decisions related to systems, communications, and cloud services.

What you'll do

• Administration of LAN, WAN, and WiFi networks.
• Management of routing, switching, VLANs, and IP addressing.
• Administration of firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and perimeter security.
• Management of DNS, DHCP, and NTP services.
• Diagnosis and resolution of network and communication incidents.
• Technical coordination with telecommunications and technology providers.
• Administration of VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter).
• Management of hosts, virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks.
• Monitoring and optimization of virtualized platforms.
• Execution of updates, migrations, and preventive maintenance.
• Integration with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Administration of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Management of GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
• Administration of file servers, IIS, certificates, and corporate services.
• Maintenance, monitoring, and updating of infrastructures.
• Basic/intermediate administration of Linux servers.
• Administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID hybrid environments.
• Management of users, groups, licenses, and security policies.
• Administration of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Support and management of Microsoft Intune.
• Automation through PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Management of resources deployed in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Administration of virtual machines, storage, and identities.
• Monitoring, security, and optimization of cloud environments.
• Participation in migration and technological transformation projects.
• Development of scripts and automations with PowerShell.
• Generation of reports and operational support tools.
• Implementation of improvements oriented towards efficiency and systems standardization.
• Use of AI tools for technical documentation, analysis, and task automation.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent training.
• Consolidated experience in IT systems and infrastructure administration.
• Solid knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory / Entra ID
  • VMware
  • Networking and communications
  • Perimeter security and VPN
• Experience in hybrid environments and cloud services.
• English level B2-C1 to collaborate with international teams.
• Availability for occasional travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and automation.
• Experience with Intune, Defender, Purview, or SharePoint Online.
• Knowledge of Proxmox, Hyper-V, or Docker.
• Microsoft, VMware, or Networking certifications.
• Knowledge of German.
