IT Systems Administrator
From end-user devices and Microsoft 365 to Linux systems and networking, you'll work on a broad range of IT topics, contribute your own ideas, and take ownership of sustainable solutions. Since many tasks require direct interaction with hardware and on-site infrastructure, this role requires you to work from our Munich office 2–3 days per week.
Your responsibilities
- Provide 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-level IT support, independently resolving both day-to-day and complex technical issues.
- Manage the full lifecycle of laptops, workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and identity services.
- Work as part of the team responsible for administering and continuously improving our network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN solutions, switches, and Wi-Fi.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking, remote access, and security-related issues.
- Support and maintain our Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, as well as our on-premise servers, storage, virtualization, and backup systems.
- Automate recurring IT tasks using scripting and maintain clear documentation of processes and technical solutions.
- You have professional experience in IT support, system administration, or IT infrastructure, including hands-on experience with 2nd-level support. Ideally, you've also gained experience in 3rd-level support or system administration.
- You are confident working with Windows and Linux systems; experience with macOS is a plus.
- You have practical experience with networking technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- You have a solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and fundamental networking and security concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, identity management, virtualization, or on-premise infrastructure is an advantage.
- You work in a structured and responsible manner, taking ownership and approaching technical challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- You communicate clearly, enjoy working collaboratively, and are fluent in both German and English.
- Technology that matters: Our software enables innovation in medical imaging worldwide, helping to bring cutting-edge research into clinical practice.
- Ownership instead of micromanagement: We encourage you to contribute ideas, take responsibility, and continuously grow your technical expertise.
- Short decision-making paths: We work pragmatically, collaboratively, and without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Flexibility: Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model help you maintain a healthy balance between office and remote work.
- A team that supports each other: Join a collaborative, open-minded team where people genuinely enjoy working together and helping one another succeed.
