IT Systems Administrator Platform Services - Internal
Our IT Department currently has an opportunity for:
- Support and enhance the Microsoft-based infrastructure and cloud technologies that power our business, including endpoint and identity services.
- Deliver day-to-day operational support for enterprise systems, troubleshooting issues across devices, applications, infrastructure, and business systems.
- Administer and maintain core enterprise platforms while identifying opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Partner with business stakeholders and vendors to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Participate in projects involving system upgrades, cloud adoption, service enhancements, and technology modernization.
- Contribute to service management processes, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support scheduled maintenance activities and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems in a medium to large organization.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server, and endpoint management platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a structured support environment.
- Experience working with incident, change, request, problem, and service management processes.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
- Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity and access management.
- Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platforms.
- Windows Server administration and related platform services.
- PowerShell or other automation and scripting tools.
- File services, print services, IIS, and Windows-based infrastructure technologies.
- SQL Server or other database platform support.
- Enterprise application support, monitoring tools, and vendor coordination.
- DNS, DHCP, certificates, backup and recovery, virtualization, and business continuity concepts.
- ITSM, ticketing, documentation, and work management platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise printing environments, Universal Print, cloud print management, or print modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot, endpoint compliance, security baselines, or application packaging.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Graph, or PowerShell automation.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise business applications.
- Experience with VMware, Veeam, backup technologies, virtualization platforms, or related infrastructure services.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar IT service management and workflow platforms.
- Experience working in retail, healthcare, pharmacy, distribution, or other multi-site operating environments.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MD-102, AZ-900, SC-900, or equivalent practical experience.
