YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Tasks
System Administration
- Installations & Upgrades: Perform and manage the installation of SAP systems, including regular system upgrades and patch management.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and optimize when bottlenecks or issues arise.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and maintain processes for data backup and restoration to ensure business continuity.
- User Management:
- User Administration: Manage user roles and access rights to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Troubleshooting: Support end‑users in problem resolution and handle support tickets.
Interface Management
- Analysis & Design Integration: Design and implement interfaces between SAP systems and other application systems.
- Implementation & Maintenance
- Middleware Solutions: Use middleware technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Integration) to realize and monitor interfaces.
- Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Regularly review interface functionality, detect and correct errors, and optimise processes.
- Security Management Security Patches:
- Apply and verify security patches for SAP systems.
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure systems meet relevant legal regulations and internal policies
- Communication & Documentation
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system configurations and interfaces.
- Collaboration with Business Units: Work closely with other IT departments and business areas to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
MUST-HAVES
- Completed 4‑year university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics
- Several years of professional experience in system or application support
- Several years of experience analysing IT‑ and business‑process requirements
- Several years of experience in project work and project organisation
