The primary objective of the IT Technician is to provide a quality service to our clients. This entails the efficient and professional management of IT systems on behalf of clients. Your responsibilities will include performing operational tasks while remaining vigilant of all monitoring tools.
You will be responsible for monitoring systems using either client or Company solutions. This involves promptly logging, troubleshooting, and escalating alerts according to established procedures. Additionally, you will be handling incoming calls within the call management system.
- Promptly log, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts according to established procedures.
- Follow departmental procedures to ensure all tasks are executed proficiently and within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Efficiently and professionally manage the allocation and administration of all support calls.
- Perform documented essential business checks for various clients prior to their scheduled opening hours.
- Ensure that all technical operations processes and procedures are documented and regularly updated.
- Assist in compiling and preparing monthly service reports for clients as requested by your line manager.
- Perform security patching for multiple clients on a regular basis, employing both manual and automatic methods as needed.
- Collaborate with other Operations and Service Desk staff on a rotating shift pattern, ensuring 24/7 operating capacity for the company and clients.

Education

Technical Skills (advantageous)
- Understanding of both hardware and software
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite
