IT Technician for Maintenance, Support and Data Exploitation

About the role

The selected person will join the technology team to participate in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of digital applications and services. Their mission will be to transform functional needs into reliable, secure, scalable, and correctly documented technical solutions, collaborating with user areas and the rest of the technical teams.

What you'll do

• Analyze functional and technical requirements, clarify needs with user areas, and convert them into development specifications.
• Maintain applications, services, components, and integrations in accordance with defined technical standards.
• Build and consume APIs and web services, guaranteeing the secure and traceable exchange of information between systems.
• Design and maintain data structures, queries, and procedures, ensuring the integrity, quality, and performance of information.
• Develop unit, integration, and functional tests; record results; correct defects; and validate solutions before production deployment.
• Participate in the processes of integration, deployment, versioning, and publication of applications across different environments.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents, applying corrections and preventive measures to reduce their recurrence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Prepare and keep updated technical documentation, installation procedures, operation manuals, and change logs.
• Collaborate in the planning and monitoring of tasks, communicating progress, dependencies, risks, and support needs.
• Provide technical support to users and internal teams during the implementation, evolution, and maintenance of solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose improvements that favor automation, operational efficiency, and the evolution of digital services.
• Use artificial intelligence tools and participate in the design, configuration, training, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI agents oriented toward task automation and digital service support.

What we're looking for

• Solid fundamentals of programming, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Design and consumption of REST APIs, web services, and integration mechanisms between applications.
• Relational databases, SQL language, data modeling, and query optimization; knowledge of non-relational databases will be valued.
• Software testing, debugging, error management.
• Operating systems, application servers, networks, and basic infrastructure concepts necessary for deployment and support.
• Containers and virtualized environments; experience with Docker, orchestration, and cloud services will be valued.
• Agile methodologies, task and incident management tools, and coordinated work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Preparation of clear, structured technical documentation oriented toward the maintenance of solutions.
• Knowledge of generative artificial intelligence, language models, prompt engineering, and processes for training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and supervising AI agents.

Education & certifications

Higher Vocational Training (Grado Superior) in the professional family of Computer Science and Communications, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification.
