The Solution Quality Analyst is accountable to test and sign off on the quality of CBA solutions, ensuring that delivery meets client requirements and acceptance criteria. The role leverages deep domain expertise, test design discipline, realistic test data setup, defect analysis, and stakeholder communication to identify quality risks and support production-ready releases. This updated role also requires responsible use of AI as a productivity accelerator for data quality analysis, test design, SQL validation, issue summarization, and documentation.
AI capability requirement
Candidates must demonstrate practical, responsible use of generative AI to accelerate data profiling, data quality rule design, test case creation, SQL analysis, and issue summarization. AI-generated checks, summaries, or SQL must be validated, corrected, and explained before use.
(RESPONSIBILITIES)
Primary Responsibilities
Participate in requirements meetings to understand client impact, acceptance criteria, testing coverage, environment needs, non-functional requirements, and testing effort.
Participate in sprint planning by reviewing user stories, identifying testing tasks, providing estimates, and confirming readiness of test data and environments.
Create, document, execute, track, and report manual and automated test cases for assigned projects, enhancements, and defects.
Create realistic participant, provision, configuration, and environment data needed for development, functional testing, regression testing, and UAT preparation.
Capture, analyze, log, and retest defects; identify quality risks; and partner with developers, product owners, and solution leaders to resolve issues or prioritize backlog items.
Execute functional and non-functional testing, including regression, data validation, configuration validation, and release-readiness testing.
Support UAT by preparing environments and test participants, validating test scenarios, and documenting results, risks, and required follow-up.
Use AI-assisted QA and data analysis tools to accelerate test design, data quality checks, SQL validation, issue summaries, and documentation while independently validating outputs.
(REQUIREMENTS)
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of software quality assurance, data testing, or related experience.
Experience with SQL-based testing and data validation.
Experience creating and executing manual tests, with exposure to test automation or automated data-validation approaches; familiarity with Agile testing methodologies, test planning, test case creation, defect management, and release validation.
Experience with QA automation frameworks, test-management tools, or automated SQL/data-quality validation is a plus.
Strong knowledge of CBA domain, product behavior, environment setup, test data preparation, client impact, and quality risk analysis.
Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, distinguish true defects from expected business variance, and communicate findings clearly.
SQL and data quality fundamentals, including joins, aggregations, exception queries, duplicate detection, null analysis, referential integrity checks, record-count validation, and trend analysis.
Strong secure data handling discipline, including preventing confidential, proprietary, client, colleague, production, PII, or PHI data from being entered into public AI tools.
