IT Volunteer (Vibe Coding)
We are looking for vibe coders
to help us develop software / AI agents / any tools to improve hostel operation.
We use
Claude for vibe coding
Railway (PaaS) to build, deploy, and scale web applications.
API integrations such as Zapier, Slack, Home Assistant, ChatGPT, ... and more!
Help us develop and operate a next-generation AI-Native "budget-hotel system" with a single goal: a world where anyone, anywhere, can travel with confidence.
You will be working on producing software / automations / AI-agent related tasks, together with our core team.
Typical activities:
Brainstorm - ideas to improve our hostel operations (task management, cleaning, etc.) and the guest experience (communication, optional extras, etc.).
Build - those ideas into simple, convenient and genuinely useful tools — using Claude for "vibe coding" (describing what we want in plain language and iterating together) plus APIs and integrations like Slack, ChatGPT, and other internal services.
Design tools that learn — capturing useful operational data as people use them, so we keep improving and stay ahead in an AI-powered world.
Test, refine, and document — try our apps as a real user, flag what helps and what gets in the way, and write simple guides for non-technical staff.
Support the team — help colleagues learn to use and improve the tools themselves.
Work Week:
4 hours per day, 5 days per week (total 20 hours/week)
Shifts are flexible between 9:00 and 22:00, to be coordinated with the staff who will work with you
We will agree on a weekly schedule together so that:
You have enough free time to enjoy the city and travel
You still have overlapping time with the team for pair-working and feedback

An explorer at heart — excited to take a project from start to finish, and to meet new people along the way (both guests and fellow volunteers).
Someone keen to share their experience and learn from the people around them.
